  • What is Yoga?
Yoga, as known in western societies, is a series of poses (or asanas) put together in a sequence (or practice), ranging 30-90 minutes, led by an instructor (or guide) for the purposes of strength and flexibility. That being said, yoga is a spiritual practice that connects the mind, body and breath.
  • Do I need to be experienced?
No experience needed, all levels beginner, intermediate & advanced are welcome.
  • What should I wear?
A pair of yoga pants or shorts with a tank top or t-shirt is perfect. Technically you can wear whatever you like; however, I would recommend that you chose comfortable, but not loose, clothing. I would avoid clothing that drapes or falls off easily as we'll be moving and grooving.
  • What should I bring with me?
Yoga Mat Water Towel Personal Props (if desired)
  • Should I eat before I come?
I would refrain from any large meals; however, light snacks are fine and might be needed at the end of a long day. Always REMEMBER your water! It's important to stay hydrated before, during and after class.
  • How much is a single class?
Register to join a single class at any open venue is $15 Drop in, unregistered, to join any single class for $18
  • Do you offer package or bulk rates?
Yes, for public classes! For those looking to minimize cost, here is the structure: $15/each: 1-5 sessions $12/each: 6-10 sessions $10/each: 11+ sessions *All package deals expire 3 months from purchase unless the case-by-case situation is discussed and approved prior to taking a leave (medical, travel, etc.). The intent is not to deny my clients sessions, but rather to protect myself from having a lengthy list of undelivered services - that's not me! So, if you have a package and need a break, just talk to me and we'll work it out.
  • Are rates different if I pop in somewhere you're already set up vs if I request a private session?
Yes, the rates are slightly different. The structure is the same, but the application of the pricing is adjusted to the number of participants vs the number of sessions. For public sessions (those I host at a gym or those I host at a venue I provide), the pricing is straight forward as listed in the 2 pricing FAQs above. For private sessions (those I host somewhere you have requested and/or secured), there is a very minimal travel fee and there might be a venue rental fee. The session pricing is the same for one-on-one; however, the bulk rates apply per class! This is meant to incentivize you to invite family and friends to join us! It's also an easy way to absorb and split the travel/venue fee. $15/each: 1-5 participants $12/each: 6-10 participants $10/each: 11+ participants Travel Fees (per session [not per person]): $10 up to 10 miles, $20 up to 20 miles, $30 up to 30 miles. This fee covers fuel, milage, time to travel and setup/breakdown.
  • Do you offer bulk rates for private sessions?
Not yet...and not because I don't want to... I'd love to, but, together, we'd need to secure a venue/location for a certain duration of time (e.g. get approval from your HOA to be at the park from 6-7pm on M/W from Mar-May). Once we have a venue/location nailed down, then yes, we can absolutely apply the bulk rates to the classes.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

The Convenience Factor

Having the opportunity to have an instructor come to us was fantastic! We were able to do sunset yoga by the marina with the grandkids and it was beautiful.

The Spiritual Factor

Michelle leads yoga from a spiritual place. Nearly every class ends with a mini meditation to send us off  to conquer the world, our fears, or ourselves. She sees and shares love and light.

The Comradery Factor

Yoga is individual, yes, but over time, you form bonds and relationships that deepen the yogic and meditation experience. I'll never stop going as long as she's available.
